Elon Musk Supports Trump at Upcoming Rally in Butler After Assassination Attempt
Elon Musk announced on Thursday that he would attend Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, later this week, marking Trump's return to the town where he survived an assassination attempt in July. Musk expressed his support on social media, referring to Trump as "tough" and officially endorsing him following the incident that occurred on July 13.
The rally on October 5 will take place at the same location where Trump was grazed by a bullet in the ear, and where a gunman fatally shot one rally attendee before being killed by a Secret Service sniper. In September, Trump faced another assassination attempt when a gunman remained undetected for nearly 12 hours at one of his Florida golf clubs.
As Trump prepares for his rally, he is also gearing up for the presidential race against Democrat Kamala Harris, scheduled for November 5, which current polls indicate will be closely contested.
