Warren Buffett announced he will step down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway by year-end, confirming Vice Chairman Greg Abel as his successor. The news came during the company’s 2025 annual shareholders' meeting. Buffett, 94, will remain chairman and stated he has no plans to sell any of his Berkshire shares.
